The nearest and most convenient destinations to get to Mitikas are: by boat going down to Igoumenitsa, or by plane to Preveza.
If you are traveling by car, you can take on your car from Ancona, Venice, Trieste, Ravenna, Bari or Brindisi and get off in Igoumenitsa. From here follow the coast, you can not go wrong, the road is good.
You will pass near Parga, Preveza then, then Lefkada, to be left to the right and continue for another 28 km. up to Mitikas.
It seems long, but the stretch of road is 130 km. around and just under two hours.
The view that you will show, will repay the trip.
If you come directly and without a car in Igoumenitsa, here you can hire a ‘car or take one of the many taxi to’ exit the Ferry. We advise you to bargain the race with one or more taxi drivers.
